Minaz Mushi (fellow University of Pretoria engineering student) and I had the privilege to have a one-on-one two hour conversation along with Christine along with the equally highly accomplished and awesome host Hema Vallabh (WomEng director and mentor).
I must say I was quite nervous about being in a room with such highly accomplished and distinguished ladies but within 5 minutes..it was like having a conversation with one of the girls - absolutely awesome! We spoke about everything from our current and past entrepreneurial activities, being a female in a largely male dominated industry to Christine having casual brainstorming sessions at work with Mark Zuckerberg!
It was an incredible, eye-opening, transformative and a#girlpower-stimulating 'therapeutic session'. I am very thankful and grateful to have such opportunities as Women in Engineering Ambassador.
